African myth - The king and his wife
Today I am going to share an Africa myth with you – Once upon a time, there is a king, powerful king in an empire that was never enslaved nor beaten in war, he has many wives, this common to African rulers anyways, but he love one of the wise his wives very much, I mean above all other wives, this particular wife has a very big breast. This king is so powerful, that he has one room in his palace, where the taboo is that nobody else enters the room.


Following, as you can see an issue of real love is between them, so both them set their rules , the king told the wife that , he love her very much , but under no circumstance, should the wife “enter that room” and the wife told him that , under no circumstantial should the king call her “ big breast “ .


So as they continue living their romantic life – king and queen, one day, the king went on trip and the queen went ahead and open enter the room – in short break the taboo. When the king came back he knows, because he is going to loose some power or go through hell to revive it. The king was angry and call told, that “I have told you not to enter this room, you big breast “then the wife was angry and she carry a calabash of water and left the palace, heading to no where, Even thus they offended each other, the kind still love her and he sent for his entourage to go and find her. But, it was later discovered that on her way leaving she finally reach a place and she turned into a river.


Then it was made taboo for predecessor of that throne when passing through that river will never look at the river and they will cover the face.


Now what do we learn from this story – the fact that there will always be true love between people , and there will always be limit of interference into privacy , or in another word respect for each other- and once this breach , there will tendency for meltdown or break . And the only way to sustain requires harmony is for one of the lover to be patient or both, if not that is.


My question is, do you believe in myth and supernatural power- do the still exist, is it something that has to do with an age or evolution that human civilization has passed.
