Book review-Macbeth-excess ambition leads to Blood spilling=Battle of conscience+brain cancer
Macbeth by William Shakespeare is eleventh century classical tragic fatalistic drama, art as they say, is one philosophy that goes beyond science, because a good artist can see what many people cannot see, art comes in different form anyway, shakespare was one artist of those time, when people spill blood any how, when human refused to know their values, the importance of what we are, when human refused to know the reasons why we exist, and what is our missionon this beautiful planet, who are we???. Lack of understanding about this is what has led to war after war, clan seizing clan and enslave them until the point where by, they sell human in the market either in the face of gun by buyer or the oppression of the opportunist powerful seller on the less powerful. How can we equate our achievement with mass destruction of people with blood spill—I hate blood anyway , killing another human is the greatest sin that God will never forget anybody—killing can be in many ways also….but I tell you the bloody one is still more critical. we say we are civilized, I don’t think so, for many years the French have put up an adage that” quand il change ca ne change pas”. Which means the more it change, the more it remain the same -this is just too true, especially in reference to what we call society. In effect, it has not change in its essential from what it was in the past even thus we tend loosely to think of civilization as progress- I frankly no longer believe in that concept- but I respect human for what we have gone through in life, sometime for how we do it , but w hasve changed little since, we began to pretend we are civilized and the same thing may be said of our society. It is like we have been running in a loop for a long time, I just wish another age of enlightment will broke out to put this proverb obsolete.
Macbeth is a satire drama , that tell the fact that anybody who spill blood or colaborate in the process will never see good at the end of his or her time, they will leave as reckless people , people with no rest of mind , some will loose their brain , some will keep seeing bizarre thing that will be disturbing their life untill the time come to go . The story of Macbeth is about ambitionat its excess, believe in false myth, like status quo, witch craft, things loaded with uncertainty, dominion project of opressioonp. It is a story that advice all of us to recognize the virtue of patience, and wait for GOD time , because HE has good plan for all of us .we must endure hardship that comes with hard time to get to the right time made for us by GOD. It is also about how best and worst those who are partners in our life can save or ruin us depending on the level of their understanding about life and it purpose and level of anbition and how to patiently and honestly pursue it ar, it has been true for a long time that woman true ,ly creative force of life, most of good one are extremely intelligent , and the bad one are also more to the other side of the spectrum. that is why they say , beside every successful man must be a good woman- alas this goes vice versa with men in relation woman, i mean beside every successful woman must be a good man......ha,,ha .because the pendulum of life do really swing in two ways. The story also, is central of matter of gratitude, when we are given a chance or opportunity or reward or even favor, we should thank the giver and return the good with good, even it is equally good to return bad with good. Everything will come back to you anyway. Everything in the planet synergies and works almost in the same way as,there is no drain in environment or physical world is it for social world and the way nature is designed is to teach us reality – if you doubt this ,I advice to make a simple experiment just go and plant a tomato and see if something will be harvested.
being ambitious is good as long as you don’t spill blood, cheat others, and your conscience thumb up tor. Ambition is good, and acting on ambition is great, but not by spilling blood or maiming people, because we people are very important to the creator it is only in His hand lies the power to take the soul . Believing in witchcraft, or project links to killing is definitely not good, is a choice on the left side of the spectrum, if you doubt me, you take a minute to listen to your conscience.
Macbeth was too ambitious, because he was given prophecy that he will be a king. And he can’t wait to be the king, the wife can even wait a second, she advised Macbeth to kill the king , the king Duncan known to be a good king, a good king that has taken care of his people that is feared and loved. Macbeth was a fierce and war great warrior know at that time, yes, people can easily entrust their livelihood on a warrior , but sometime how we get there is what determine what our performance will be like. He killed the king , what follow such killing eliminating every other good people linked to goodness.,,,,my friend not only that battle of conscience – ONLY IF HE CAN KILL CONSCIENCE—Banquo was equally given prophecy that he will be nohing but his generations will be kings, but yet he decided to follw things as he coe and refused to force drive the ambition , we will see in the story, that the upright peeple will always end it well --lets see how it goes.

The story
Scottish armies managed to suppress a rebellion on a stormy night, through the valor of two noblemen Macbeth and Banquo that were frustrated by betrayal of Thane of Cawdor' in the invasion of Viking .When news of war events reached Duncan, King of Scotland, he was delighted with Macbeth's performance, but insisted that Cawdor's be executed for his treason. Accordingly, that Macbeth is named in his stead, Thane of Cawdor.
Macbeth and Banquo, on their way home from war, met a trio of witches –Macbeth saw a dark hags and shouts: "Double, Double, toil and trouble." The witches astonished the pair with prophecy that Macbeth would become first, the new Thane of Cawdor, and then, King of Scotland; and that Banquo would become the father of kings. Then the dark hags vanished, leaving Banque and Macbeth to ponder over these strange prophecies. Then, two of the king's messengers arrived with news that Macbeth had indeed been named to replace the deposed Thane of Cawdor. Macbeth was amazed to see the first of the witches' prophecies so quickly fulfilled, and began to believe in the ultimate fulfillment of the second. If he could be Thane of Cawdor, perhaps he could rule all of Scotland as well.
This innocent belief quickly expanded into a deep-seated ambition, which began to taint Macbeth's mind with dark thoughts: Would the prophecy fulfill itself, or would he have to take action to usurp the throne? Since Duncan was king, would not one of his two sons follow him in ruling Scotland? Thus they discussed, Banquo resisted any thoughts of hastening the witches, prophecy that his children would be kings, but could sense that Macbeth is no happy about he third prophecy. Because he is just work to get the king and that is the end of his generation. Banquo and Macbeth returned and reported to King Duncan, who commended them both for their courage. But during the ensuing conversation he made two announcements which brought even more sinister ideas into Macbeth's mind: First, he declared his son, Malcolm, heir to the throne; and second, he expressed his intention to visit Macbeth for a night at Macbeth's castle.
Here we go, ambition start to grow , too fast a rate ,Macbeth felt he must somehow take advantage of Duncan's visit to advance his own ambitions - or, as he saw it, his own destiny. Then the power of woman and ambition comes in, hearing of her returning husband's success and of the prophecies pronounced upon him, Macbeth's wife was filled with a consuming desire to see him ascend to the throne. Vowing to stop at nothing in this quest, Lady Macbeth urged her husband to help her murder the king as he slept. She would undertake to induce the king's guards to drink, giving Macbeth the opportunity to slip into Duncan's quarters, slay him, and plant the murder weapons on the drunken guards. Macbeth hesitated at first, but later agreed to his aspired wife idea.
As announced, Duncan did visit Macbeth, and after feasting there with Banquo and others, he prepared for bed. According to plan, Lady Macbeth arranged to intoxicate the guards, and then sent her husband to do the deed. Presently, Macbeth returned to her, Duncan's murder accomplished. But now Macbeth was filled with guilt. Nonetheless, the conspiring spouses slipped, unseen, back to their chamber. Two visiting nobles, Lennox and Macduff, finding the king's body the next morning, sounded the alarm. Everyone rushed to the site, where Macbeth and his wife pretended to be shocked and heartbroken. Duncan's two sons, suspecting a similar conspiracy would be attempted upon their lives, fled separately to England and Ireland. After that, everyone saw the flight of Duncan's sons as evidence that they had been the conspirators against their father. Macbeth was crowned as successor to the throne; he had fooled everyone, except Banque, who was suspicious of Macbeth's sudden rise to power.
Banquo, remembering the promises made by the witches regarding his own progeny, feared jealous attempts on both his life and the life of his son Fleance as well. Immediately he informed Macbeth that the two of them would be leaving the country. The tormented Macbeth, who also remembered the witches' ultimate prophecy, hired two assassins to kill Banquo and Fleance as they traveled. He could not allow Banquo's son to rule. Banquo was murdered, but Fleance managed to escape. Many days later, Macbeth gave a feast for his compatriots. As he raised the glass, mourning that he would have liked his friend Banquo to be present, he was horrified at the appearance of Banquo's bloody ghost - seated on Macbeth's own throne. This show that Not only the battle of conscience proceed blood spill, but also a brain tumur that cannot be cure, Now the terrified behavior of their new monarch virtually confirmed to the Scottish nobles that it was Macbeth who had contrived Duncan's assassination.
One of the Lords - Macduff immediately left for England to aid Duncan's avenging son, Malcolm, in assembling an army to usurp Macbeth. When Macbeth and his wife learned of this counter plot, they found and consulted the witches for advice. The witches warned them to fear Lord Macduff, but added that no harm would come to Macbeth "until great Birnham Wood onto high Dunsinane hill shall come." Furthermore, "no man of woman born" should have power to harm him. Macbeth rejoiced: he was assured of ultimate victory. After all, how can a forest move itself? And what man is not born of a woman?
But when the witches showed him a vision of eight Kings, Banque among them, and his enthusiasm melted away, and he ordered the prompt murder of Macduff's wife and children. When Macduff, approaching with his armies, learned of these murders, his anguish only sharpened his resolve, and he swore to kill Macbeth with his own sword. When his armies reached Birnhaiyi Wood, Macduff instructed each soldier to cut tree boughs and hide behind them, in order to conceal their numbers. Like some kind of walking forest the men moved on Dunsinane, where Macbeth was poised to defend himself.
As Macbeth was preparing for war, his wife, chafing under her own guilty conscience, was walking in her sleep, attempting to wash from her hands invisible blood-stains. The horror of her crimes and the fear of death at the hands of her own untrusting subjects brought on her grim, agonizing dreams. Madness poisoned her spirit so bitterly that, on the eve of Macduff's attack, Lady Macbeth died. The King's twisted mind too had been nearly destroyed. In his dementia, when word came that his wife had perished, he remained nearly unmoved. Moreover, as he dressed for battle, additional bad news arrived - Birnham Wood seemed to be moving toward them! Macbeth and his army rushed out to meet Macduff's approaching forest of men.
Macbeth fought recklessly, only bolstered by the false courage instilled by the witches' pronouncement that "no man born of woman" could overthrow him. Finally, the two warring leaders engaged in hand-to-hand combat. During the scuffle, Macbeth taunted Macduff; Macduff had not the capacity to kill him:
As easy mayst thou the intrenchant air
With thy keen sword impress as make me bleed.
Let fall thy blade on vulnerable crests.
I bear a charmed life, which must not yield
To one of woman born.
But Macduff, still inflamed over the slaughter of his family, answered his enemy that he had never been, in a sense, "born of woman." "Macduff was from his mother's womb/ Untimely ripped," he replied. Macbeth now fought in fear, with waning strength. The rebel at last gained the upper hand and plunged his sword into Macbeth's breast, then severed the head from the body of the bloody counterfeit King of Scott and Macduff returned to the castle and hailed Malcolm, good King Duncan's rightful heir, the new King of Scotland.
As you can see, life an imagination can so much in conflict , imagination tear the material elements of life to pieces and create a world beyond as which is in opposite e to the world around us .a mine is a big hole dig by liars, witches are obviously liars, and the thing that remain true to us is conscience .This story teach us a lot , about conscience The reality of the fact we no one know where everyone is growing to , I will not comment on the witch, because the devil is given power , thus so limited and we are built with defence that can counter all its power.
The story is a standard of the effects of ambition, initially; Macbeth was honored and respected by the king and people. However, the witches' suggestion that he will attain the throne, his psychology gets manipulated and began to force things through ambition By the time assassinated the king , Macbeth he became a conspiracy of murder, and later desensitized as to remain unmoved even by his wife's death. People that surround us play a lot of effect on decision will make , that’s why we must know who to associate purself with , Macbeth likely would never have carried out his plans if not spurred on by his wife's stronger personality. In some ways, she is more of a man by moving father to say ("come you spirits," she prays, "unsex me here . . . "). But in the end she is overcome with guilt that manifests itself in crazed hallucinations.
Thus Banque, among those was somehow "blessed" by the witches prophecy, he escapes temptation: first, by refusing the seductions of ambition; and second, by refusing to conspire with Macbeth against Duncan. He is, as the witches prophesy, "lesser than Macbeth, and greater ... not so happy, yet much happier." It is by no accident that Shakespeare's Banquo is a pure, upright fellow. The historical Banque was the direct ancestor of James 1, the King of England at the time of Macbeth's first performance.Above all the story tell us even if we get prophecy, as long as we do it right , we do the right thing we will be fine and spilling blood and oppressing people , only end people in disease of conscience that disturb the brain- so beaware there is no drain inthe planet - you reap what you sow.Too much or excess of everything is bad--so is excessive ambition...it can drive people insane to make wrong judgement.Stories of returned soldiers troubled with psycholgical problem, and abnormal behaviour is another manisfestation that shakespare Macbeth is a satire to cautionhe society about blood spilling.
